Atmōra is a sustainable, slow-fashion brand creating one-of-a-kind statement pieces by reworking vintage textiles.  

Everything we do is rooted in India. We personally source our vintage fabrics there, and partner directly with local Indian artisans who handcraft our jackets.

The heart of our collection is a traditional fabric called Kantha. These fabrics carry a beautiful history.

Kantha originates in the Bengali region of South Asia, today's Bangladesh and West Bengal, and it's one of the oldest forms of upcycling. 

Women in rural areas repurposed worn-out cotton sarees and old cloths by layering them on top of each other and hand-stitching them together. This process results in stunning, unexpected colour combinations and intricate stitching patterns
